"World War Z" vs "The Dead Sea" Best Zombie Book?
Which would you recommend between "World War Z" by Max Brooks or "The Dead Sea" by Brian Keene? I'm trying to find a good zombie book to get into. If you can help please give me reasons for your answers. Thanks!
Hey there, I've read WWZ but i haven't read Dead Sea. WWZ was a great book, I've read it a few times. If you're looking for a actual story where you have a main character and you follow them on their journey WWZ isn't for you. It's a collection of a bunch of different interviews taken ten years after the war against the undead. Since i haven't read Dead Sea i can't speak much for it, only that it was written by Brian Keene and he wrote The Rising and City of the Dead. Both were good books as well, they had the possessed type of zombie. The zombies in that book can think, use weapons, drive cars the whole nine yards. I heard that Dead Sea has the more tradition zombie. Slow, shambling, all it does is want to find you and eat you. I have a blog where i talk more about WWZ, The Rising, City of the Dead along with other zombie books. You should check it out you might find other books to read as well. Here's a link.
